So, who are they?

They’re an electronic design and software development consultancy based in Nottingham.

And in more understandable terms, they help businesses turn an idea into a profitable and manufacturable product, through assisting in its technical and engineering development. Coding, testing, design, whatever it takes to bring your product to market, they’ll be there every step of the way to ensure it’s within budget and on time.

Don’t worry though, you don’t need to be a qualified engineer to succeed in this role. What they are looking for is the right attitude and a consultative approach so you can really understand what your customers need, to help the business deliver on it.

The business is young, having only recently celebrated their 4th birthday, and they’re a small but close bunch. So, if you’re looking for a huge corporate to join, this probably isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a small team, where your work will be recognised and rewarded, then this could be an awesome match.

You’ll be working closely with their Sales Manager, and like her, you’ll be expected to be pragmatic in your approach, confident and independent enough to own a meeting, all whilst building proper relationships and being 100% consultative – there is absolutely no room for pushy, cold calling, salesy tactics here!

They’re openminded when it comes to your background, but you do at least need:

To be confident and assertive
Base knowledge of industry and a willingness to learn
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Industry related experience is preferable, but not essential

They’re looking to pay between £25 and £30k (DOE), and you’ll be trusted to work remotely when appropriate. All they ask is in your first month or so, until you’re up to speed – that you visit the office a few days a week to properly immerse yourself in the team and their processes.
